I should be on Adizar doing a massive search for my ideal job, but before I can crack on with that I have to get on with all my distractions and get them out of the way.
I've had my 15 minutes or so on Facebook, checking out other people's banal status updates, I've had a sconce over the BBC News website and gotten thoroughly depressed at the state of the world and now I'm looking at Kerrang and Midnight Mixtape to get a music news fix that might perk me up.
And it is certainly perking me up! Not only are The Mars Volta putting out a new album in March, At The Drive In are reforming after 11 years for festival appearances! Both bands contain the same key people - vocalist Cedric Bixler-Zavala and guitarist Omar Rodríguez-López - so it's surprising to see that both of these bands are making comebacks around the same time! It's definitely cheered me up!
